One year ago, on World Health Day, Mindset supported the launch of the Access Our Medicine Initiative – to raise public awareness and engagement in the global problem of access to medicine. The target was to engage 100,000 people in an online declaration.

It’s been an incredible year! There have been numerous discussions with individuals and organizations and the response has been overwhelming.

More than 100,000 individuals from 157 countries and 160 organizations representing over 800 million people have signed the declaration that everyone should have access to affordable medicine!

On this World Health Day, a new goal has been set – to reach 30 million people. The plan is to use a Thunderclap. Over the next 30 days there is an open invitation for individuals and organizations to partner with them and share a Facebook post and tweet to their networks at exactly the same time.

On May 6th these messages will be automatically broadcast together – amplifying the message to those currently negotiating the UN Sustainable Development Goals that access to affordable medicine needs to be a priority.

Everyone is invited to join – and can sign up here!
